It’s been a while since I’ve actually been able to sit down and write on my blog. And for that I’m sorry. However, it’s not been because of laziness. I’ve been working hard, and spending time with some graph paper and designing some crochet items. I’ve even taught myself to knit!
That being said, I have no new photos to share with you, but wanted to give you a life update.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been not feeling the best. Every time I’ve had anything with wheat, or if I’m being honest – any grain, I’ve been feeling gross. So, being the research hound that I am, I looked up some recipes which should help me feel better. Going to give the Ketogenic Diet a go. It will stretch my abilities as a chef, as I’m a home taught cook. These recipes are harder to do, but they look like a lot of fun.
Take today for example … I’m making Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs for lunch. Followed up with a fresh Okanagan peach. I’ve been drinking some detoxifying water my Mum made and brought down. It’s actually quite nice. I think on payday, I’m going to pick up a Basil plant.
So, hopefully soon I will have some photos of new foods I’ve tried, new crochet items I’ve either made or designed, and some new knitting. I’m loving this new creative lifestyle I’m embracing.
